WHAT IS 720 MARKET? 720 Markets are open-air, community affairs hosted in different venues in and around Stark County. An entire schedule of event locations and times are listed online here for locations and times.

WHAT WILL I FIND AT 720? Each market features 100+ tented MAKERS, BAKERS, BREWERS & GROWERS and Food Trucks. Many our vendors live right in our communities. 720 also continually attracts and retains unique and talented vendors from Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Youngstown and Western PA.

WILL THERE BE ENTERTAINMENT? Live music in an integral part of our events and three different bands are showcased at each market. It’s definitely a vibe!

WILL THERE BE FOOD & BEVERAGE? Yes! We are ready for you to “EAT (and drink!) HERE,” discover new and loved food trucks from local and beyond. Enjoy local crafty beers while you shop. The 720 Market continues to feature local brewers inside our market space since 2016!

WHAT TYPES OF VENDORS WILL BE AT 720? All types! Local foodie creators offering pickles, hot sauces, honeys, seasonings and more are big part of our market. We uniquely mix them in with artisans, creators, boutiques and more! Market days are your opportunity to meet our talented vendors face to face and they love seeing you. Don’t forget your market tote to stock up on all locally made things!

WILL THERE BE CREATIVE ACTIVITIES FOR ALL? Be sure to check out Camp Creative demos, artisan lead make & takes, visiting artists and learning opportunities. Many of our community partners (libraries, health organizations) offer interactive actitivities at their tents.

WHERE IS PARKING? Parking is plentiful surrounding 720 Markets. We will always ensure parking availability at our venues. Our friendly downtown locations make it an easy walk (or bike) to 720! Look for signs for designated handicap and wheelchair accessible parking.

IS 720 FAMILY AND PET FRIENDLY? 720 MKT is a free and family friendly beloved weekend destination. Well behaved, leashed pets are welcome. Please note that many of our events are on asphalt.

IS 720 RAIN OR SHINE? Yes, but mostly shine 🙂 A 720 event would only be cancelled in the event of severe weather. Public service postings would be made on social media and our website.

WHERE DOES THE NAME “720” COME FROM? It’s the last three digits of our local zip code. (We get asked this a lot!) It symbolizes where it all started, not to mention its limitless outreach to hometowns across the country

PARTNER "POP UP" EVENTS

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT 720 PARTNER “POP UPS”? 720 Pop Ups are specialty markets with unique themes ranging from 20 to 60 vendors.

Our pop-up events are typically a ‘feature’ within a larger community event. Find us popping up as a Boutique Market at The Pro Football Hall of Fame Fashion Show or as our Village of Shops at Light Up Downtown Canton. Now in it’s third year, the 720 BAR B*Q MKT has quickly become a favorite feature at the North Canton Main Street Festival.

WILL THERE BE NEW POP UPS? YES! For our 2023 season, the 720 Indoor Show at Stark County and Tuscarawas County Home & Garden Shows and our newest concept “720 BLVD MKT” at Kenmore First Fridays coming in July! Follow 720 on social media for the latest additions!

ARE TICKETS REQUIRED? Pop ups may require special ticketing. Check individual event page/link for special requirements and ticketing information if applicable.

WHAT ABOUT PARKING? Because each partner event is unique, be sure to check all parking information on the individual event links.

SIDESTREET MKTS

WHAT IS SIDESTREETMKTS? SidestreetMKTS was created as a 720 Market off shoot to promote gathering at the once abandoned — but now thriving — Oakwood Square Plaza. The monthly SidestreetMKTS operate Second Saturdays May through October. Oakwood Square Plaza is home to SidestreeetMKTS where the community has embraced and supported us since its inception in 2020.

WHAT IS THE LATEST FOR THE PLAIN TOWNSHIP AMPHITHEATER? NEW FOR 2023! Where SidestreetMKTS once filled a community green space will soon be a community amphitheater! Plain Township will be opening this $3.5 million facility including restrooms and gathering spaces as early as August 2023! Stay up to date on the amphitheater progress here.

IS ON SITE PARKING AVAILABLE? Parking is available on site in Oakwood Plaza parking lot. Overflow parking is available behind the plaza.

CAN I EXPECT TO FIND LOCAL VENDORS FOR SHOPPING SIMILAR TO 720 MKT? Yes! SidestreetMKTS is slightly smaller-scale shopping event with over 60 local handmade and homegrown vendors each month!

WILL THERE BE FOOD & ENTERTAINMENT? SidestreetMKTS features food trucks as well as the ever-expanding list of Oakwood Square restaurants and breweries. These include John’s Bar, Royal Docks, Tlaqueplaque, The Bistro of Oakwood, Gioninno’s Pizza, Bugsy’s Italian Cuisine, and Forever Urban Craft Winery.

Live music is a staple at SidestreetMKTS! Enjoy two local bands at each event while you shop and eat.

WHAT IS “DORA” AND HOW CAN I ENJOY IT DURING SIDESTREETMKTS? Oakwood Square is a designated DORA area. Simply put, this means you can enjoy beverages from Oakwood Square restaurants and breweries throughout the walkable plaza including craft beer, wine and cocktails as part of the “designated outdoor refreshment area.” It’s easy! Visit the restaurants and breweries listed above and ask for a DORA cup!

ARE PETS ALLOWED? Friendly, well-behaved pups are always welcome at SidestreetMKTS as are good owners who clean up after their pets!

WHY ARE TICKETS REQUIRED FOR HOLIDAY (INDOOR) EVENTS? 720 Markets are extremely well-attended events. Because of this, we have introduced a staggered entry time program for Holiday shows to help us plan for and manage attendee arrivals to avoid long lines to park and wait times for vendor shopping.

HOW CAN I GET TICKETS? Guests simply claim a ticket through the Eventbrite link on individual event page and select their preferred arrival time.

CAN I ARRIVE AT A TIME DIFFERENT THAN I RESERVED? We ask that you choose the arrival times closest to when you can come. If something comes up and your arrival time changes, we would accept your ticket when you arrive.

HOW DOES THIS HELP 720 MARKET MANAGE ATTENDEES? This program lets us keep track of expected attendees numbers and helps with controlling crowds, traffic and parking. Our guests and vendors love the timed flow of crowds.

DO I NEED TO CHECK IN AT ENTRY? We always love to welcome guests to 720 shows and hand vendor maps out and will gladly check your printed or mobile ticket at that time!

VENDORS

HOW CAN I BECOME A VENDOR AT 720? Our vendor applications open up early January each year and can be found in the APPLY tab in our website menu. We recommend that vendors apply early in the season as spaces fill quickly.

WHAT DOES WAIT LIST MEAN? 720 Markets are very popular events and vendor spaces fill fast. When that happens, we create a list of approved vendors “WAITING” for a space. These vendors would be notified by email if an appropriate space for their vendor type opens up.

ARE YOU AWARE OF SCAMMERS? We are aware that vendor show scammers will try to reach potential vendors in social media platforms asking that they email to apply or pay via email. It is important to note that 720 MARKET WOULD NEVER ASK FOR THIS INFORMATION OR MAKE A VENDOR PAYMENT IN SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS OR COMMENTS. The only way to apply to our events is on our website! After approval, vendors will receieve a vendor agreement and invoice to pay direct. Please do not fall for scammers!

WHAT IF I APPLIED AND HAVE NOT HEARD BACK? 720 is a curated vendor event and it may take up to two weeks after applying to review, approve and notify a possible vendor. We thank you for your patience!
